We offer innovative solutions to decarbonize some of the most challenging sectors, including hydrogen, ammonia, e-methanol, and e-fuels. Element One provides a range of proprietary technologies for fuel, heat, electricity, fertilizer, and potable water. Whether used independently or together, our solutions deliver energy systems and chemical manufacturing with 100% zero-emissions.
A technology platform for conversion of municipal solid waste to sustainable chemicals and fuels.
Residential and industrial wastes disposed by landfills have long-lasting problems including greenhouse gas emissions, high land usages and ground water and soil pollution. Kimiya, an integrated process to convert municipal solid wastes (MSWs) into useful chemical products, including ammonia, methanol, and sustainable aviation fuel along with other high-value by-products such as biochar is set to reshape the landscape for how we use and treat our waste in the future.
The KIMIYA platform consists of several modules collectively performing four key functions, namely:
1 Release – Pretreatment (i.e. separation, size reduction, comminution and drying) of solid waste components.
2 Breakdown – Deconstruction of the molecular structure of pretreated components of solid waste through our proprietary technology PECLOG (Pyrolysis Enhanced Chemical Looping Gasification).
3 Build-up – Synthesis of the building blocks from (2) and formation / production of crude (primary) products in unpurified form.
4. Recover – Extraction and purification of refined (final) products from crude products produced in (3)

HSA’s ‘Project Shield’ Dual Frequency Plasma Electrolysis technology will make green hydrogen affordable to all.
A technology platform that uses 100% intermittent renewable energy to convert hydrogen and nitrogen into high purity ammonia.
AMMONIAC is a technology platform specifically designed to convert hydrogen and nitrogen into high purity ammonia. The AMMONIAC technology is a thermochemical looping process for production of ammonia from hydrogen and atmospheric nitrogen. Green ammonia can be produced if hydrogen is obtained from renewable sources. The AMMONIAC process essentially “breathes in” nitrogen and “breathes out” ammonia simply by cycling between different reaction environments at near ambient pressure. This breakthrough process is a simple, cost effective, energy efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to the conventional Haber-Bosch process and other emerging technologies for ammonia synthesis.
AMMONIAC technology which is originally developed by the University of Newcastle (Australia), is currently being translated into a commercial product in collaboration with Element 1 P/L and a joint venture with Ammoniac Ltd.

An ammonia reformer specifically designed to convert ammonia to hydrogen for anywhere high purity H2 is required.
Kraktek is an ammonia reformer specifically designed to convert ammonia to high purity hydrogen. The Kraktek system is capable of supplying hydrogen for a wide range of existing applications, while offering the flexibility to power various sectors, including road, rail, marine, aviation, and stationary energy systems. Built on a modular platform, the reformer is designed to scale both vertically and horizontally, adapting to diverse energy needs. Kraktek provides hydrogen on demand, efficiently serving both fuel cells and hydrogen-ready internal combustion engines.
Kraktek is currently being translated into a commercial product as part of a joint venture between Element Alpha Pty Ltd (Australian Company) and the University of Newcastle.
